TCP, DNSBL & content checks

Not everything worth watching speaks HTTP, and a 200 OK doesn't mean the page is right. Xpiry adds the network-level probes and body assertions that close those gaps.

Port reachability. Assert that a database, SMTP server, or any TCP port opens a connection within a timeout.

Ping

Reachability that actually works. A TCP-connect ping, the portable check for hosting where raw ICMP is blocked.

DNSBL

Stay off the blocklists. Check your domain's IP against DNS blocklists so you find out before your email starts bouncing.

Content

Assert on the body. Fail an uptime check when the page is missing required text, contains an error string, or responds slower than your threshold.
